Why Logo Design is So Expensive

I have had countless people ask me why they should pay a professional designer to design their brand/company logo, when there are other services that can do it for a whole lot cheaper.  My answer every time will be…. When it comes to your company’s logo… Cheaper doesn’t mean better. A logo’s purpose is to promote brand recognition, create a sense of trust in your company, and also, it should say something about your company (preferably symbolizes what you do/offer.)  Everything that goes into your logo, from the image you may or may not use to the colors that you choose are extremely important when it comes to logo design.  It has been my personal experience that it takes a designer with a knack for photography to be amazing at logo design.  They can lay out in their head what will look best on a larger scale.  They are amazingly capable when it comes to color coordination, and they generally can sketch out in their head exactly what it is you want to see, even before they go to design it either or paper, or in Photoshop/Illustrator. It takes a well-rounded artist to be amazing at logo design.

Go to google.com/images and search for bad logo design.  Various different logos will come up; and some of them are… well to put it nicely… sub-par logo designs.  Some companies don’t want to spend any extra money to make their logo really neat and different; instead they use an online source that only charges $5.00 for a logo design.  $5.00 usually means it takes 5 minutes to put together. Shelling out the extra cash however has serious benefits.  If you have a logo that sets you apart from everyone else, it will definitely show when it is in comparison to your competition.  Your logo should be the first thing your clients/customers see when they go to your website, and it should be the first thing they remember when they need what you offer.  Also, if you have a design made by a professional, chances are, the logo is going to look professional.  When you look professional, your customers/clients will trust you.

So that brings me to my final question… Who should you trust when it comes to logo design?  Well, I don’t know if you know, but Paradise Graphix offers logo design services.  Our artists are professionally trained.  http://www.paradisegraphix.com/pages/work/default/LogoDesign/  President of Paradise Graphix, Scot Reedy, went to school for photography and is a well-rounded artist as described above.  Your logo is a vital component to the success of your business.  It should be one of your main concerns, especially for a new business.  The success of your company is important to you, and it is also important to us.  Paradise Graphix would be proud to help any business in a logo design, be it a new founded business, or a business looking for a new updated logo.  Check out our website for more information or call 513-446-7674
