They were easy to work with in regards to the design, they were patient with me, and the van looks amazing. There were a couple of issues when I picked it up, but they spent two hours, until 10:30PM, correcting them for me. I spent many years driving past their old shop, and had some minor work done by them on my previous company cars. And I can say with 100% confidence that my wrap has increased my business. But after selling a few franchises you start having franchise owners finding their own way of doing things and this causes inconsistency from your original business and its values that got you to where you are. If you recommend something the owner will see it as an option and will find a cheaper method. So if you are known to have the nicest towels in your bathroom all of your franchises should be known for that.

We have noticed in industries where something is delivered or you make house calls and use a delivery vehicle there are a lot of issues with inconstant brand. One franchise owner may be a die hard Ford guy while the other likes Chevy vans. Or the new start up just may want to use what he already has for a year while the business gets going. The other problem you will find is when it comes time to get that brand you have worked so hard on, the cool logo you paid a designer to help design and the colors you lost sleep over trying to decide what is best to stand out. When it comes to this point you want them to all look the same, but today everyone has a buddy who can do that cheep or I have a friend who does it out of his garage on the weekends. Do you want to trust your brand to that? DO NOT give your franchise owners this power, Make them pay the premium to keep what you envisioned standard.

People don't realize that from sign shop to sign shop things vary so much you could never have the same look. McDonald's has one place make all of the menus and ships them to the franchises, this is not up for discussion constant results.

If you consistently wash your van on Sundays before the new work week and restock any items, then so should they. If your image gets damaged in an accident or fender bender get it fixed right away. All of these things reflect right back to you and your brand.

Be relentless in the details, in this case sweat all of the small stuff. and make sure you can walk into any store show up at some ones house or business and the customer knows exactly what they will get. That is the key to a great franchise.

Scot Reedy

Paradise Graphix
tags: Franchise Advertising Sometimes Lettering Just Isn’t Enough. https://archive.paradisegraphix.com/pages/blog/entry/181 Thu, 15 Sep 2016 10:53:40 EST https://archive.paradisegraphix.com/pages/blog/entry/181
Sometimes Lettering Just Isn’t Enough.

Imagine this; you’re driving down the road, you see one truck pass by with white lettering on the side of it. It’s hard to see what it says and you miss the whole point of what that company does. Now imagine this; you’re driving and you see a fully wrapped truck with the name the whole length of the cab, and very colorful. You were able to see the company name and possibly even a picture indicating what that company does. Which one are you most likely to remember when you need that service later on? Sometimes lettering just isn’t enough. Our minds are condition to remember colors and pictures, not a string of words put together in white lettering.

Every day you see color, and every day you are subconsciously reacting to color. Warm color such as reds, oranges, and yellows, make you remember things. Cool colors such as, blues, purples, and greens, make you feel calm. As you can see, your brain reacts to colors; it’s also more inclined to remember pictures. Which can you remember most easily; Van Gough’s Starry Night, or the last sentence you read? In your memory there is an area called iconic memory; it is a sensory memory for vision. It lasts for a fraction of a second and stored for an instant, the brain often doesn’t store that information in our long term memory. It will however, be stored in the retrieval memory section; only if it has memorable qualities such as colors and pictures.

A Full wrap has all of those qualities and more! Our artist is trained to see and evaluate what colors will work with your company or logo, to make your vehicle stand out on the road. You want your company to stand out, you want people to remember your name. And what better way to do that than to show them. With a wrap you have endless possibilities of what you can put on your vehicle; bright flashy colors are the first thing a person will notice when driving down the road, at this point you have their attention. The next thing a person will look at is a picture; A picture or some kind of deign on your wrap is the best thing you can do; people would rather look at a picture than read anything. After they look at your picture and see what your company is about the next thing they will look at is your name, and this is where you have them hooked. You were an iconic memory they now have stored in their retrieval memory storage.

But hey, don’t just take my advice. Take a look for yourself and think; which one would I notice first?
tags: lettering, Full wrap, Vinyl, Wrap shop, What Makes a Good Wrap Company? https://archive.paradisegraphix.com/pages/blog/entry/180 Fri, 26 Aug 2016 16:00:48 EST https://archive.paradisegraphix.com/pages/blog/entry/180
What makes a wrap shop?

There are many qualities about our wrap shop that differ from others.
