Corporate Sign Shops Are NOT Your Best Bet!

When making the decision about where to get your advertising needs, be it a vehicle wrap, lettering, signs or banners; going to a corporately owned company might not be your best bet.  I refer to an article covering the episode of the hit show “Undercover Boss” when a corporate sign company was featured.  http://jobs.aol.com/articles/2012/05/05/undercover-boss-custom-signs-company-ceo-says-shes-been-work/ 

 

While corporations do have their advantages as far as respectability is concerned, all corporations also have their own issues.  While watching said episode of Undercover Boss I found it quite ironic that the CEO herself had never made a sign, let alone laid vinyl of any kind before in her life.  This means that the people in charge of setting the prices, and rules and regulations of the company, probably have no idea either.  I believe that in order to efficiently run a company, one should know the ins and outs of the business entirely.  In our small family-owned and operated business, everyone we hire knows the ins and outs of everything we do.  We do this to promote product knowledge, and to make all of our employees as well rounded as possible.  From our installers to our artists and office management, we all know what we are talking about!
