Will My Wrap Hold Up In Winter Weather?

Snow on Vehicle Wrap

Will Cold Weather Or Snow Affect My Wraps Longevity?

The simple answer is: No; if you take proper care of your wrap.

This question is asked by many people (especially where we are located in Ohio.)  Everyone worries that a wrap will not hold up as well as paint in the winter time with snow and freezing percipitation.  This however; is not a valid point to worry about.  Snow and frozen ice will not damage the wrap at all.  The only part of the weather that could possibly affect the wrap in any way is the Salt that is put down on the road.

Much like it could on a paint job; the salt (if left untreated) can become very corrosive to the laminate on a wrap and can cause discoloration.  The bad news is... Salt is also bad for a paint job if left untreated.... The answer to this is simple:  Do not leave the corrosive salt on your vehicle for too long.  When you have a day that is warmer: handwash your vehicle or run it through a carwash (NOT THE TOUCHLESS KIND)

Taking proper care of your vehicle is needed in order to keep the value up anyway; so this should be simple for anyone wanting a vehicle wrap.  The winter weather is nothing to fear; so order that wrap!
